Have you discovered Houzz.com?

I know, I know another website on which to waste time, but this is so related to our business, homes. If you get a moment check out Houzz.com, it feels in a small way like Pinterest, but is all about houses and homes. Photos posted are all house related and you can form an ideabook that contains the photos you like and that speak to you and why.

I have been using both Pinterest and Houzz recently, actually posting things from Houzz on my Pinterest boards and then realized it was just easier to start my own ideabook on Houzz.com.

And do those photos rock, architects, builders etc have been posting there. There are homes and ideas here for specific rooms, living room, dining room and for styles Mediterranean, Traditional, Contemporary etc. There seem to be endless photos on here and you will find it is easy to lose time just watching it being sucked away from you as you peruse these photos. But if you are looking for ideas, some of these may be the inspiration you need.

They also have pages of local suppliers, so if you are a contractor, designer, etc., you should register.

Specific products are featured as well, some really cool things, again too many to mention. So go on check it out, I know you will enjoy it. Just don't blame me when it becomes an addiction hanging out on their pages.
