So you want to live in Wayne

So you want to live in Wayne PA. 

Wayne is a popular place for those moving to want to live, it is a lovely town with its own Art Deco Cinema and sidewalks to stroll.

Bur living in Wayne without specifying where can have you living in any one of three different counties, Montgomery, Delaware or Chester, each has very different tax rates. Secondly, you can end up in one of three different townships Tredyffrin, Radnor, or Upper Merion Township. And hence one of three different school systems if you are going to have your children attend public school, Tredyffrin Easttown, Radnor or Upper Merion School District.

So you need an agent who asks a few more questions than just accepting Wayne as th place you want to live.

There are multiple types of homes available, from apartments, twins, town homes, single family homes to luxury estates. There is a mix of styles as well including Ranches, Split Levels, Capes, Colonials and Victorians as well as some Contemporary styles as well.

Map of ChesterbrookYou can live in Chesterbrook which is in Tredyffrin Easttown, which has a Wayne address and zip code, you could be in a walk to Wayne location in Radnor Township or in the pan handle of Tredyffrin Township and if you go just a little further slip into Upper Merion.

Prices vary depending on school district, township and the exact location as well. 

Wayne HotelWayne itself is delightful, full or wonderful restaurants, a real Main Line destination for eating out and to do some shopping as well. The Radnor Middle School is located in the heart of downtown Wayne next to the Fire Station and you will see crowds of children wandering through the streets after school visiting coffee shops, water ice or simply window shopping on their way home.

Wayne has several hotels, both in the center of town and scattered around the outskirts as well, there is plenty of employment within a few minutes of downtown Wayne as well with the Radnor Financial Center just a few  minutes from the center of Wayne.

Wayne is located on the Main Line and has a historic train station, and it is here each year that the town Christmas Tree stands for all to enjoy.

Wayne hosts a jazz festival on N. Wayne Avenue, which is well attended by people from all over the Main Line.
