After commenting on the lack of inventory in Chesterbrook last week, two new listings came on the market. One on Witherspoon, priced at $205,000 went under contract almost at once, but has since come back on the market, and another on Headhouse Court priced at $224,000 came on as well, both are two bedroom homes, Witherspoon on one level, a ranch style home, rare in Chesterbrook and obviously of interest to buyers and the other over two floors, with a nice open floor plan and views of some open space behind the end unit town home.
There is still a lack of inventory in Chesterbrook and buyers are not waiting for the Spring Market to purchase a home, taking advantage of low interest rates. So if you are considering listing your home, now is a perfect time as you will avoid much of the competition of the Spring Market as many sellers wait to list their homes when the weather is warmer and agents advise them to waitfor this traditonal time to list a home.
