Main Line Philadelphia Market March Snap Shot

Whilst the real estate market is slower then previous years, there are some interesting facts visible looking at the data.

In each of the counties along the main Line, sales are down by varying amouynts compared to last year, but prices are up both for average price and median price. Also, homes are selling closer to list prices.

So far since the beginning of the year, we have seen most homes selling for less than the list price, however, just in the last week, we are startiung to see homes settling at over asking prices, this indicates the market has changed about 30-60 days back and buyers are being more agresssive with offers and competition has heated up for the inventory there is available.

If you are interested in buying or selling a home this year, attend our seminar 10 Steps to Buying a Home in 2014 at Easttown Library this Thursday April 24th 7-9 pm, you can reserve a seat as seating is limited.
