Malvern Boro fastest growing community in Chester County

Malvern downtown

The recent release of numbers from the census bureau show the fastest growing townships in Chester County between July 2012 to July 2013.

Malvern Boro is a delightful place to live and the building of apartments on King Street may very well account for the large increase in population. It has a great small town/village atmosphere and is surrounded by Willistown Township and Charleston Township both of which carry the Malvern mailing address and are part of the Great Valley School district. It is also the site of The Paoli Massacre Monument in the Revolutionary War which became a rallying battle cry "Remember Paoli"

But also its proximity to good transportation, easy access to the turnpike with an EazyPass only entrance/exit on Route 29, the Septa Thorndale Paoli line for center city Philadelphia, and being close to everything else the Main Line has to offer with award winning Hospital in Paoli and a plethora of nearby restaurants, bars and coffee shops make Malvern and its surroundings an attractive place to live.

There is a good range of housing for first time home buyers, townhouses, single family homes and for move up buyers there are larger lots and even some wonderful estates in the surrounding townships of Willistown and Charlestown. New housing does exist, although prices are driven by cost of land with this often being 22% of the cost of a new home in the area.
