Paoli Battlefield a moment in history

It is late at night, a small group of American soldiers having fought the British at Brandywine are camped in Paoli, sleeping. The rest of the American forces are at Valley Forge protecting the fords. Silently the British approach, and in the dead of night with bayonets fixed. With a roar, they storm the camp.

"Remember the Paoli Massacre" was a Revolutionary battle cry. But what really happened. Our video with Sean Moir of Western Heritage Mapping explains the situation a little more.

History and historical homes are all around us in Tredyffrin Easttown. Today you can buy homes right where the Americans or British camped.

Very cool history lesson, and one of the great things about PA - all of the history that came through the state!

Joan Cox it is one of the things I like about the area, if you dig a little most areas have some sort of history and knowing it helps you understand development and why things are the way they are.

John Meussner there is history everywhere, you just have to look for it, not always from the same period.

Nick & Trudy Vandekar, 610-203-4543 - you are doing your community an honor by introducing video sharing history about your area. I remember being a Girl Scout Leader about 100 years ago, trying so hard to find people who could share historical significance to my girls about the area they grew upl. I found a few and those people were rare. Capturing this on video will help preserve the history from the people who know it best.

You're doing so much good for your community. It's a no brainer, anyone wanting to move to your area must call you. You truly are the best! As their Agent, buyers and sellers need to know you're not just any agent in it for the money, you're in the business because you love this community so much. Thank you. You are an inspiration to me!
