Power is back, sigh!

Trudy just called me at the office to say our power is back. Eureka!

We saw a tree firm going through our neighborhood and several township trucks earlier and heard the growling of big trucks as well over the hill. Then a little later, light and power, so now we can have hot water again.

Thank you PECO, one and a half days earlier than you estimated, really appreciate the effort you have put in getting these smaller outages cleared up.

Thank goodness. Normal operations are now being resumed!

Will be grilling this evening to cook what was defrosting slowly in our freezer. Anyone want to come for dinner?

Hopefully, other smaller outages will get cleared up before the snow event tomorrow evening so people can at least prepare and get themselves ready for that. Winter is going out with a bang as I heard we also have another winter event due at the weekend as well.

But all is well, we will be ready. In the meantime we are still ready to list your home and get it ready for showings and get it sold. Nick- so glad to hear that you and Trudy have your power back on!!!!  If I lived nearby, I'd say "start the grill, I'll bring the adult beverages!!!"   Stay safe and warm.

Happy to hear this news, Nick... it will feel good to get life back to a more normal pace. Are you in the line of the next storm heading north? I hope not.

Kathy Streib I spent an hour grilling the contents of the freezer and we had a grand dinner with lots of choices.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel you are always welcome we had plenty of choice.

Curtis Van Carter we are right in the path, 8-16 inches is what they are saying.

Grant Schneider it was a learning experience.

Tammy Lankford, it was never that bad an we usually are not concerned.

Nick & Trudy Vandekar, 610-203-4543 - Mother Nature is playing havoc in many different parts of the country. These experiences makes us realize how much we depend on our utilities. I heard from Gloria Todor that they had downed trees in PA and it was pretty bad there too. I am thankful you're all alright.

Wishing everyone in PA the power to have power and powerfully great success and good fortune!

Patricia Feager thank you, we are waiting for round 2 now and hope that this time we will come through unscathed. Still lots of people without power. Know they must be feeling very frustrated.

Nick & Trudy we are so dependent on Electricity it is impossible to live without it, we happen to live next to LAX that is Los Angeles International Airport and we never lose our power for more than 3 minutes and I can not tell you how grateful we are for it. Hope you got by this one relatively painlessly, Endre

Endre Barath, Jr. it has become amazing how we cannot do anything without internet and electricity. Glad you rarely lose power, but must be a little noisy being that close to the airport although I know I lived opposite a fire station and nver noticed it after a while.

Nick, The good thing about outages is, it forces you to take an inventory of what is in the fridge and freezer.  Glad you got it back sooner than expected!  Hopefully it will not go out again anytime this year!

Trudy & Nick there are quiet hours from 10:30pm to about 6:30am... I sleep through it in the morning with no problems... in the day time it is not as steady as most people think and they last less than 6-10 seconds as the go by:))  Endre
