Museum passes available at Tredyffrin Easttown libraries

One little known benefit of our local libraries in Tredyffrin Easttown is the Museum Pass program. This has been expanded for 2018 to include Eastern State Penitentiary, Independence Seaport Museum, Wings of Freedom, Magic Gardens and the Museum of the American Revolution.

Passes are available at Tredyffrin Libary on Upper Gulph Road in Strafford and also at Easttown Library (19 local attractions covered) on First Avenue in Berwyn, check with each library for the attractions covered by their passes. Paoli library may also have passes as they are part of the Tredyffrin Library network.

Other benefits you may not know about from the libraries are mobile hot spots for when you travel, Paoli has a GoPro camera, online book access for audible and kindle or tablet version books, CD and DVD rental for music and film, books on MP4 and CD format when traveling a large variety of subjects including fiction and non fiction as well as all the books on every subject you have access to through the Chester County Library System.

All the local libraries have excellent children's sections as well as computer access and many different programs which can be attended throughout the year such as film festivals, talks on art, computer and internet subjects, book clubs, bridge clubs, genealogy clubs just check with each library what programs they offer and when.

Don't forgetyou can also rent rooms for meetings and if you need a notary check your local library for times when they are available.

Good morning Nick. This is a great and informative post. I love libraries and there is something very special about being around and involved in books.  I so enjoyed talking with you yesterday. Thank you for choosing me to call.

Now this is a great benefit, Nick. Not sure I've heard of it anywhere else... it's not like it gets cheaper with each year to go to a museum! In many cases, more expenensie than taking in a movie.

Scott Godzyk we have great libraries, what I didn't mention is that many of these programs are funded by friends of the library.

Bob Crane they also host a shredding event for the community, always very well attended and a fundraiser for the libraries.
