I'm with you - nothing like a water feature and the sound of water to soothe and cool.

Good morning again Nick. I just got a fountain and love the look and sound of it too.

Nick,

We agree.  I was investigating solar powered water features recently, and I love the soothing sounds of it.  A

Beautiful water features.

We are huge fans of water features too, Nick! We installed one 3 years ago when we sold our house it a pool and couldn’t stand not having the calming sounds of the overflow spa. It really is good for the psyche!

Water features are lovely. Outdoors they often attract birds and butterflies; indoors they provide a backdrop for peace and serenity.

Nice "hook" for a call to action, Nick. I'm not personally a big fan of water features... like the look of them, but the constant sound irritates me quickly. And I know that I'm probably in the minority.

Anthony Acosta - ALLATLANTACONDOS.COM thanks for stopping by.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD we keep talking about putting one in but so far have not pulled the trigger.

Sheila Anderson it is a fine balance on speed, fall and how much noise they generate.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel I like the sound of that, no wiring to run from the house....

Paul Antonelli thank you.

Debe Maxwell, CRS it needs to be relaxing, not to fast, not to slow, and the height of the fall is also important to get the right sound as well.

Lottie Kendall that is very true, we have plenty of birds and bees who would probably like the water

Nina Hollander like music the sound has to be right, it can be annoying, and it can be relaxing, have to get it right.

Patricia Feager I think water is relaxing, the sound of waves, the lap of water against a boat hull, etc. A water feature like music needs to be just right to relax and soothe, it almost needs to tinkle. Like wind chimes it can also be really annoying if it is not the right sound.

Nice! Water is very soothing...those are wonderful examples of creating a relaxing atmosphere in your yard!

I couldn't agree more. We had a fountain that was solar operated until the peacocks decided to use it as their private birdbath!  But I do love the sound of running water. It's cooling and soothing.

Good morning Nick and Trudy.  Water features are wonderful for not only a soothing and relaxing atmosphere, but also do a good job of drowning out any ambient neighborhood noises.

Hannah Williams we tryhard to find the perfect house, not always possible as nearly every home needs something, even new construction but sometimes there are things clients don't consider which are easy additions and add value.

Sharon Tara I am still looking for the right thing for my yard, I like the idea of solar powered fountains that several people have mentioned.

Kathy Streib where you are it would be a great addition, there are a few peacocks in our area but none near us, always wonder where they came from as they turn up in odd places near us.

Gabe Sanders that is very true, something I had not thought of when I posted this but a good point.

Water features to a home is a terrific addition. We have fountains, but one feature we really enjoy is our birdbath. Watching the splahing around and waiting their turn is delightful!

Roy Kelley thanks for stopping by.

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 I think our cats would like a bird bath, maybe a little too tempting for them.

You're so right - height does matter! The next time you're in Charlotte, you guys have to come have a glass of wine with us! We'll sit on the varanda that looks out at the waterfall!

Love water features, Diane used to like it too until it became her project to clean it and when the wild animals use it as a bathing facility she did not take too kindly of it:))Endre
