A rainy day in Berwyn PA, go to King of Prussia Mall!

It is hot and humid in Berwyn today, with constant rain on and off. Hard to plan anything to do outside? Maybe a trip to King of Prussia Mall is a solution.

King of Prussia Mall

Since the opeing in 1963 with two separate portions of the mall which was linked with an expansion opening in 2016 joining the two together this has been a go to choice on the East Coast for luxury shopping.

With 7 major department stores and a wonderful collection of luxury stores in which you can shop, dream, or simply admire, the 2,900,000 sq feet of space is beautifully designed and gives you space to walk and keep yourself busy when it rains checking out the other 400 stores, boutiques, jewlery, tech and restaurants throughout the mall.

There are plenty of places to eat, in and around the mall as well from fast food outlets to high quality dining including several top level steak houses. Cheesecake Factory is always a favorite, and Bonefish Grill also has a location in the mall as well.

The area also has plenty of hotels for out of town visitors as well, also at all levels from Red Roof Inn to Sheraton.

The new town center adds another collection of shops, restaurants and Wegman's to the mix as well.

Whilst there are bus routes for getting here, a car is a requirement, although there is talk of extending a rail line to the mall which I think will take some time to go through planning and being built.

Regal Cinemas has a large multiplex with all the latest movies, another great option for a rainy day and if you like to fly, iFly has a facility where you can literally skydive indoors.

All this helps property values in King of Prussia as well as all the surrounding communities and townships as well for both new construction, re-sales and rentals.

If you think living close to the mall might be interesting, let us show you some options, or maybe you never thought of the Mall as being a selling point for your local home and want a realtor who uses all the marketing opportunities they can to get your home sold call Nick Vandekar, Tredyffrin Easttown Realtor, Selling the Main Line with Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., office 610-225-7400, cell or text 610-203-4543,, website

Good morning Nick. My Mom used to live near there at some point. A huge place.

Nick and Trudy,

That sounds like a great suggest on a hot, humid and rainy day.  We used to really enjoy the Cheesecake,  Sadly since the Olive Gardens bought them, they have changed.  And neither the service nor the food is as good as it was in the beginning...A
