One of a kind place - Eastcote Lane

I have been trying for several years to get together with Teresa from Eastcote Lane in Wayne to introduce her store to a wider audience. I know several local decorators use her as a resource and she has a great eye and a talent transforming older pieces of furniture into something you must have.

Today, I was able to spend some time with her and the video below gives a brief introduction to her store, Eastcote lane, a working furniture shop and art space at 751 W Lancaster Ave., Wayne PA 19087, you can find the locations in Cape May and Kennett Square on her website www.EastcoteLane.com. As you hear in the video the name of the store caught my attention first and then I realized what a cool place and resource this could be for homeowners.

Hi Nick... such an unusual business... and a very cool idea! These kinds of people are hard to find these days.

Nina Hollander Teresa mentioned to me another local shop where they have gone to using new furniture obtained wholesale because they cannot keep up finding older pieces. The demand outstrips the supply.

Joan Cox she was very happy, and she has a great model with shops in 3 locations now.

Brian England it is a unique sort of shop and she has a great personality.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD thank you.

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 - this was an excellent introduction to Teresa from Eastcote Lane in Wayne! Her shop is exactly the type of business I appreciate. Shop owners and shops like this are rare and wonderful! Teresa is very knowledgeable and was helpful in explaining to me all that stripping and priming weren't necessary anymore. I did that so many times in the past and just about fainted from the toxic fumes. I never knew why it made me so sick either. Thanks to you and Teresa, I learned something new!

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD very true, she was extremely bubbly and we did it all in one take.

Endre Barath, Jr. she does, it has taken for ever to line up our schedules to do this and to get her to agree, but after some nice comments in an article about places to shop where she got mentioned and some other social media mentions she agreed and it went great.

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP isn't it wonderful, just a little light prep and you can paint away and tada a brand new piece of furniture.

Morgan Evans Teresa is tucked away on a busy road, but easy to miss and a worthwhile visit if you have some old furniture from family you want to revamp for today.
