Saturday walk in Tredyffrin Easttown

Our weather has been topsy turvy in Tredyffrin Easttown, snow and ice earlier in the week, temperatures of 61 degrees yesterday. So with a nice clear blue sky, a rather brisk temperature of 38 degrees and a little time on my hands I grabbed my hiking boots and visited one of my favourite spots. The George Lorrimer Preserve on North Valley Road in Paoli/Malvern. One of the things I love about our area are all the spaces you can walk and get outside and enjoy nature. Buying a home here allows you to enjoy these spaces, national parks, township parks, state parks, private arboretum, gardens and county trails.

I have written about the nature preserve before a space of 87.8 preserved acres open to the public to walk and enjoy. There are multiple other space, all preserved, nearby and accesible to the public. Dogs do need to be kept on leashes, but the trails that wind through the area are delightful. Many of these allow you to catch a glimpse of deer or foxes.

There are also creeks, a pond and a small dam. With the sun out today glinting off the water it was home to several different types of duck.

Wow, weather changes for sure in your area.  We are visiting Grand Kids in Ohio but weather is okay.

Good morning Nick.  I'm glad you are walking, though I would not be able to handle that weather.

Will Hamm it is pretty cold agai today and clouding up.

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP there are so many places to enjoy the outdoors in our area that are free and as you say only cost you energy.

Gabe Sanders it can be a tiring time of year. Cold this morning when we got up, in the mid 20's.
