Movies under the stars

It is that time of year again, when we hope the rains will hold off long enough to watch a great, classic movie outside under the stars.

Brought to you by Easttown Library and the Berwyn Devon Business Association we have a wonderful selection of classic and family movies for the Summer Season. We kick off the season this Friday May 31st at the Berwyn Paoli Little League Field of Dreams with of course Field of Dreams, what else could it be. The grill will be fired up and drinks are also available so come early, bring a blanket and have some family fun to kick the weekend off right. Movies usually start at about 8.30 pm depending on the light.

Then all other movies will be behind the Eastown Library, weather permitting, otherwise we will be inside the library.

June 14  - Grease

July 19 - Rear Window

August 16 - Ghostbusters

September 6 - Goonies

Movies are shown on a large 21 foot screen, movies begin at 8.30 pm bring a chair or a blanket, probably bring some bug spray and enjoy Free Popcorn and don't forget to bring your friends too.

Easttown Library is located at 720 First Avenue, Berwyn, PA 19312. Last year we had great fun and good turnout for the movies and although we ended up watching most of the movies inside we had a blast.

This is just one of the things that makes living in Tredyffrin Easttown so wonderful. Blasts from the past! Watching those movies under the stars would be fun. I'm sure this post will encourage some locals to get their blankets ready.

Hi Nick... movies under the stars are very popular in the Charlotte area and we have any number of local towns who sponsor them.

Good morning Nick. Rain, rain go away and outdoor movie nights will debut here in Chicago. We have a park near us that is a popular venue. Enjoy your day!

Hello Nick - community events like movies viewed under the stars are a lot of fun.  Bundling up and staying warm too.

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 - Sometimes it's good to kick back and relax. It's fun to stand in line and meet people at concession stands too.

Under the stars, may you continue to shine.

Nick, I am sure each movie will be well attended. There's something about watching under the stars that adds to the ambience and fun. Great localism post.

This sounds like a lot of fun.  Kind of like going to the Drive In but without the cars.
